How we compare

What they offer first. Outcomes never.

TRT telehealth is full of buried pricing, subscriptions, and supplement look-alikes dressed up as clinical therapy. Here is exactly how we decide what gets ranked, what gets flagged, and what gets left off entirely.

01

What they actually offer

First we establish what a provider really is. Some are dedicated TRT clinics; some are general men's-health telehealth platforms that happen to mention testosterone; and some "testosterone" products turn out to be over-the-counter supplements, not clinical therapy. We say which is which, plainly, on every review. A provider that doesn't actually prescribe testosterone gets labeled that way — no blurring the line between a prescription medication and a supplement.

02

Price transparency

We record what a provider says its consult, medication, and labs cost, and how clearly it discloses them up front versus burying them behind a subscription. Every figure is provider-attributed — pricing changes often and varies by plan, so we tell you to verify the current number at the source before you commit. We rank a provider's transparency, not a price we can't guarantee.

03

How the consult and labs work

We document each provider's published path: how the online intake and clinician consultation are handled, whether bloodwork is required before a prescription (it should be), how labs are ordered and reviewed, and how follow-up and monitoring work. We don't test or sample the experience ourselves — we compile it from each provider's public information. Testosterone is a controlled prescription medication — a legitimate provider routes you through a licensed clinician and real labs, and we note when one doesn't.

04

What we could and couldn't verify

We separate what a provider documents and we can confirm from what we can't. Claims we can substantiate get stated as fact; claims we can't are flagged as exactly that. We describe how each service works and what the record says — never how anyone will feel, respond, or benefit. We rank on verifiable attributes, never on health outcomes.

05

Ongoing re-review

Providers change pricing, plans, and how their consults work. A ranking from last year is a rumor. We re-check what providers offer and revisit verdicts on a rolling basis, and every guide carries the date it was last reviewed.

What we don't do: no pay-to-play, no sponsored verdicts, no placements for sale. We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through some of our links, but rankings are set before monetization is considered, and an affiliate relationship never reorders a list. See the full disclosure.

The honest limits:we compile what providers publish and disclose — we don't sample, test, or try any provider, we're not a clinic, so our verification is only as good as what providers document (which is exactly why we reward the ones that disclose more), and pricing is provider-attributed and should be verified at the source. And nothing here is medical advice: this site is for adults 18+, testosterone is a controlled prescription medication, and therapy always requires a consultation with a licensed provider.
